Microsoft Game Studios (sometimes referred to as MGS) is the game publishing division of Microsoft. It was created it 2002, by the launch of the Xbox. They release most of their games exclusively for Windows and/or Xbox/Xbox 360. They publish games developed both by in-house (e.g. Lionhead Studios for the Black & White and Fable series) and third-party (e.g. Epic Games for the Gears Of War series) development studios.
