Question about Scroogle SSL

Pathetic CR,

Re: Firefox Scroogle SSl search (in FX 4.0) After installing & searching, it returns a lot of hits in foreign languages. some searches have 50% foreign lang. hits. No options to limit language(s)?

Unless I missed something, as it it, not very useful.

Thanks. Anonymous (talkcontribs) forgot to sign this comment.

That's weird, usually when I search for English words my results are in English, and actually even when I search for non-English words the results tend to be a little too much English. Anyway, here's a version which searches only for English results: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/scroogle-ssl-english-search/

Thanks. I installed the English only ver (in FX 4). So far, no probs - Mozilla hasn't reviewed it yet.

BTW, if you want to make it a little easier for addon users to contact you (maybe you don't), might put a bit more info about exactly how to use this site to get in touch w/ you. Anonymous (talkcontribs) forgot to sign this comment.

Well, I assumed that since this is "just like Wikipedia" it was straightforward, but I guess I'm a bit biased since I've been using this system for 8 years now ^^. But it's not really trivial to explain, actually... I think I'll just put a link to the forums instead, that's a more usual way of communicating. I wonder why I didn't do it in the first place.
About the Mozilla review, this usually takes at least a week. Pretty discouraging... Patheticcockroach 23:06, 2 April 2011 (CEST)
